Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organisation’s goals and objectives.
- Talent management – succession planning, career development, retention
- Performance management – goal setting, appraisals and feedback mechanisms
- Training and development – identify training needs and develop training programs
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership regarding HR-related matters, including advising, coaching, counselling and development planning.
- Collaborate with Management to drive organisational effectiveness and efficiency through HR initiatives.
- Build up competitive edge and branding of the company to attract and retain talents.
- Promote employee engagement and manage employee relations issues, ensuring a positive work environment.
- Oversee HR administration tasks such as payroll, employee records management and HRIS maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employee laws and regulations and keep abreast of changes in employment law.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or a related field.
- MBA and/or professional HR certifications will be an added advantage.
- Proven progressive experience in HR management roles, with demonstrated leadership and strategic planning abilities.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices and industry trends. Experience in oil and energy industry will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organisation.
